Convert grid reference to Latitude and Longitude

This utility converts a British or Irish grid reference into Latitude and Longitude. It is believed to be accurate to within 5 metres, but there is no guarantee. Use at your own risk.

You can enter a grid reference:

• Either as a grid square (with 6, 8 or 10 figures, corresponding to squares of 100m, 10m and 1m side respectively), in which case the Latitude and Longitude will relate to the south-west corner of the square;
• Or as a precise, comma-separated Easting and Northing in metres.
